The CADdrive LeoCAD extension provides you with a new CADdrive menu in the menu bar, which you can use to load models from a CADdrive instance, automatically merge versions and upload new versions.
Loading CAD models from a CADdrive instance
You can load models from our CADdrive instance as well as from your own CADdrive instance. When loading, you must first select the desired product and then the version you would like to continue working on.
Automatic merging of two or more versions
The CADdrive LeoCAD extension also supports the automatic merging of versions. This function is particularly helpful when several product developers are working on different tasks in parallel and making changes.
Pushing a new version of the CAD model
Once a product developer has made their changes and the task is complete, the new version can be frozen and pushed. This means that the team can always return to this version. This creates maximum security!

Notification of new version of the product design
Product developers can work on different tasks in parallel. This results in changes to the CAD model, which are uploaded to CADdrive. As soon as a new model has been uploaded, all developers can be informed by email.
Notification of tasks and their discussion
Sometimes tasks are unclear and should be discussed before a product developer sets about implementing them. With CADdrive, the discussion of a task can be conducted asynchronously including comment notifications.
