This week, children aged 12 to 15 visited us at FH OÖ Campus Wels to learn more about the use of digital tools (especially CAD and PDM/PLM) in the development of products and systems.

The children had the task of designing their own product using our platform. They were allowed to work together in groups of two and came up with lots of great ideas.

The children were also able to try out our VR prototype for digital LEGO models. In our VR environment, they were able to build a crane using predefined building blocks.

The feedback was very positive! The children really enjoyed our workshop and we were able to awaken their enthusiasm for the subject of product development and engineering.
